Welcome Welcome message from Mr McDaid

Welcome to our school website! As you navigate your way through this site I hope that your overwhelming impression is that we are a nurturing school. I hope you see a school that offers your child opportunities to learn and to achieve – a school that develops and enriches your child through their daily experiences.

Most especially we are an Integrated school and in this environment, we talk about who we are and what we believe – we respect our own and others' cultures and backgrounds and take on the challenges that living in Northern Ireland continues to present.

We are a Forest school and develop the curriculum through outdoor learning. We are proud of this and of our Eco School Status. We aim to help each child fulfil their potential and aspire to give them skills to be wonderful citizens of the future. I invite you to come and visit and see for yourself and look forward to meeting you in the near future!

With technology becoming an ever increasing part of our children's lives it is important to help our children use technology and the internet safely and responsibly.

We are providing child care facilities to help as many parents as possible to attend. Please confirm your attendance by clicking here

We hope to see you all there

Science investigation homework
13/01/2026 10:13 AM

Science investigation homework will go out this week Monday 12th January and to be returned by 23rd January

Children can use this template or they can write it up in their own creative way.

We expect Science Investigations to be child led and completed as independently as possible.

ALL our pupils are expected to complete a science investigation.

Next week there will be no written homework to allow time to complete science investigations.

Spellings, reading and facts will go ahead as normal.

Please return both write ups and investigations back to school when completed.

Please check out our website for some investigation ideas

Face to Facebook Free workshop 21st Jan @6pm
12/01/2026 12:45 PM

Dear Parent/Carers,

We are writing to invite you to a free parent workshop being provided to us by Love For Life called 'Face to Facebook' on Wednesday 21st January, 6.00-7.30pm in the school hall.

This interactive workshop will provide an up-to-date overview of what’s happening online for many children.  The workshop will also explore topics such as cyberbullying, social media, sexting and practical tips about boundaries that could be helpful in the home. Face to Facebook builds the confidence of parents and carers, equipping them to deal with the opportunities and challenges online, and inspires them to use their unique influence as we all navigate our ever evolving digital world.  This is a one off workshop offered to our school and hopefully you will agree that ensuring our young people's safety online is so important.

To ensure everyone can join us, we will be offering crèche facilities for families who need them.

Hopefully we will see you there.

Many thanks,

Miss Agnew

Christmas 2025

Christmas 2025

Dear Parent/Carer,

This is a very challenging time with the Cost of Living Crisis continuing to impact many families. We recognise that Christmas can be a particularly expensive time and may contribute to extra financial pressure.

We have received some toys into school from a number of sources, including some very generous gifts from a number of our parents.

If you feel your family would benefit from some extra help this Christmas, please contact Mrs Blair or Miss Agnew via the school office by Wednesday 10th December. All enquiries will be treated with the strictest confidence.
