Today the children conducted a science experiment to learn about light passing. The children used torches to shine light through different materials and see whether light shines through - easily, some or not at all.
Integrated fortnight - celebrating being better together -Cultural food Day
Primary 3 children were investigating how blubber helps an animal stay warm in the frozen conditions. The children put their hands in 2 bags of ice - one covered with blubber (lard) and one without. The children found that the layer of blubber kept the animals warm in the cold conditions,
As part of their topic, Mrs Johnston's P3 class created polar art using chalk and card. The children used cotton wool for the polar bear fur.
