P5

Firemen Talk

Primary 5 had a visit from firemen at Glengormley fire station. They talked to us about things we could do to keep ourselves safe in our homes and what to do in an emergency.

Also finding out how hard it is to reach a smoke alarm on the ceiling!

Miss McCarron's class making potato bread

P5 made potato bread as part of our topic "My Local Area." We enjoyed making it & eating it!!!!!!

Jo & Sarah came in from "Belfast Hills" partnership programme to speak to P5 about how mountains & hills are formed and what holds them together. We did lots of practical experiments to show how they form. We had lots of fun!!!
