Celebrating 40 years at Hazelwood

2025 marks a very special year for Hazelwood Integrated Primary.

In September 1985 the school opened its gates for its first pupils becoming Northern Ireland’s first Integrated Primary School.

Friday 10th October 2025 was our Launch Day

We celebrated 40 years of Integrated Education by releasing Doves. The dove is a symbol of peace and has been our school logo from the start

The children loved to see these beautiful birds being released, they also enjoyed bouncy castles's, an outdoor lunch, party bags and the ice cream man made an appearance.
