We had Caoimhe come and speak to the whole school about the charity Mary’s Meals. This charity was founded over 20 years ago. It was created to help children who were suffering from hunger when attending school. Hunger is a massive barrier to a child’s learning. Mary’s meals support children coming to school fed and ready to learn. Caoimhe shared with the children the significant impact it has made over the last 2 decades. It now feeds over 2 million children in Malawi and Zambia.
