Mrs Megarry's P2 class were tasked with making an item in relation to space for homework. Some children made space helmets, back packs and rockets. They loved talking about them and showing theirs off to
P2 have been learning all about Space.
We read the story ‘Here we are’ by Oliver Jeffers and then chatted to our partners about what we know about Earth.
We then wrote a letter to someone in space teaching them facts about Earth. We got to post them in the Space Postbox and a few days later we got an exciting reply that was delivered to us all the way from Space! Mr McDaid found the Space mail and brought it round to our classroom. What an exciting week in P2!

P2 children have been learning about birds. This week they have been making bird feeders using cheerio’s. The children had a great time in the outdoors finding trees and then hanging the bird feeders on branches. The children will return after the weekend to see if the birds ate the cheerios.
P2 had great fun taking part in the big bird watch 2025. We spotted some lovely birds in our woodlands.
